Installation
Installation
Before installing your new floated fround DC stator
- Check the AC output of the stator
- Replace any burned or corroded connectors on stator and regulator rectifier
- Check and repair any melted wiring
- Use hi-temp dielectric grease on all connectors
Our stator might have a different wire color code than your original part.
All the wires are installed in the correct order; please do not change any of the wiring configurations.
This stator is designed as a direct plug-in replacement and should be used as such.
When bolting stator in, always use locking compound.
If our stator includes a pickup coil, always make sure the air gap is correct upon installation; we suggest as close as possible but no less than 0.010".
Warning:
Risk of electric shock. Disconnect the battery before servicing.
Ensure proper installation by a qualified technician to avoid malfunction.

Had to replace a burnt out stator.Dealer wanted too much to do the job, so having watched the how to video I gave it a go myself. The video was great( removing the battery gives more access to those hard to reach stater bolts). New stator and regulator delivered to the uk promptly and fitted perfectly. Bike back up and running and charging as it should.

I needed a DVA to verify the peak voltage from the stator to the ignition coil on my neighbor's little dirt bike (Suzuki JR50). I had read many reviews about this and several other units. I'm really glad I bought this from RMSTATOR. It seems to be high quality and works great. I hooked it up with my Fluke 115 and got the answer I needed. It's a bit pricey, but I feel it was worth the money.
